EB Fruit (East Bohemia Fruit) is a marketing co-operative of fruit growers, which was set up in 2004. The co-operative comprises of twelve fruit growing companies located in East Bohemia in the territory of the former districts of Hradec Králové, Jičín, Liberec and Semily. Its members focus predominantly on growing apples, sour cherries, cherries, plums and pears on an overall area of 500 ha of orchards. The annual production of the co-operative members amounts to 6 to 7 thousand tonnes of fruit.  The marketing co-operative has been registered by the State Agricultural Intervention Fund – Prague as a marketing organisation of fruit producers.

The target of EB Fruit – the marketing co-operative of fruit growers is the improvement and stabilisation of the sales of its members’ fruit production, concentration of fruit types and varieties and joint supplies of individually graded and wrapped products to the market under the common brand. Apart from arranging the sales of fruit for its members, the marketing co-operative of fruit growers also organises consultations, joint production inputs and optimises the type and variety structure for new planting. In order to achieve its targets EB Fruit uses the standard support from the European Union funds, as an equal regional market association of the European type.
